I propose that NET Tram introduces a policy where penalty fares are reduced by half if paid within 14 days. This adjustment could:
Encourage quick payment from passengers.
Enhance customer relations by showing a fair approach to penalties.
Streamline the payment process and reduce administrative follow-ups.
Implementing this change may align NET Tram with practices of other transport services and benefit both the service provider and passengers.
For example, West Midlands Metro/Tram has proposed increasing their penalty fares from £10 to £100, with a reduced penalty of £50 being applicable for early payment within 14 days. Why can't Net tram do it?

Thank you for the suggestion.
There's no current plans to introduce this system, but we'll bear it in mind if we are looking to change the penalty fare amount.
