Can you take a Dog on the tram?

We do not allow dogs on board Nottingham Trams. This is to ensure the safety of your dog and also other customers. Our trams do often get extremely busy and with limited seating spaces, most customers stand during their journey. At our busiest, our trams will likely have upwards of 100 people standing and it wouldn't be the best environment for your dog and we wouldn't want to see any paws being stepped on.

You can, however, take with you a guide dog for the blind, a hearing dog for the deaf or any other assistance dog without charge. At the discretion of staff, you can also take with you a dog or any other inoffensive animal without charge, provided it is kept under control and carried in a suitable container. This container must not be put on seats.
