Our customers' safety is our number one priority and whilst we believe we operate a very safe and reliable tram service, we want to hear from you if you have witnessed anything that falls below your expectations.

Most importantly, if you have been involved with, or have witnessed anything that is deemed a crime, this must be reported to the police in the first instance. In an emergency, please dial 999 to report the crime to the police. In non-emergency situations, you may wish to report a crime to the police by dialling the non-emergency number - 101. All of our trams record CCTV and we have several CCTV cameras situated at every single tram stop. We also have access to a host of CCTV cameras across Nottingham City. Once an incident is reported to the police, our network managers will assist with supplying the police with any evidence that we hold. It's really important that crime is reported to the police at the earliest opportunity by any witnesses or persons involved as they will be able to clearly relay any relevant information in order for the police to pursue the matter as soon as possible.

There are also other ways of raising any concerns you may have or certainly if you spot an issue, we want to hear about it.

Discreet messaging via WhatsApp - Add Nottingham Trams (0115 8246060) to your phone contacts

Did you know you can now contact NET via WhatsApp? Using WhatsApp is a great way to let us know about any concerns you have. Our team is always on hand and will be happy to assist wherever possible. Our team is situated in the control room and we can easily relay information to our drivers, our network managers and any staff that might be present in the area. If you wish to report anything that may be of concern, then you can reach out via WhatsApp, adding any images, voice notes, texts or videos. Feel free to reach out if you spot any issues which may include any poor behaviour from other customers, vandalism, broken seats or tram fixtures or anything that may be considered non-emergency.

Driver Help points

Each tram has several help points near each door. Pressing the help point will connect you with the driver of the tram. Wherever possible please try to raise any concerns to the driver when the tram is stationary. Please press the help point button only once and await the driver's response. Once the driver can safely respond he will do via the help point speaker, at which point you can clearly state your issue so the driver can assist.

Help points on the tram platform

Every tram stop has an emergency and customer help point. if you need to speak to a member of our team at any point, day or night, then please use the help point for assistance. Our team are always on hand to assist you. Our tram platforms are also there to help anyone in need, even if it does not concern travelling by tram. If you are in need of help, then our platforms are well-lit and covered by CCTV and a member of the team will respond as quickly as possible.

Speak to a member of the team

If you spot an issue or wish to raise any concerns, please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to help. All of our staff who are out on the network will also be looking out for any behaviour which falls below expectations. If you see a member of staff and wish to raise any concerns, they can easily relay this to our control room via a radio.
